A spokesperson said: "Our PCSOs attended Kiddlywinks Nursery last week to engage with the youngsters around road safety and crossing roads safely.
"Our community engagement with children begins at this age and we offer inputs into most schools at various stages including stranger danger, water safety, and antisocial behaviour.
"In secondary schools we offer inputs around drugs and alcohol, sexting and sharing images, safe driving, knife crime, and antisocial behaviour."
