A COASTGUARD team were called out to a Cumbrian lake following reports that a kayaker had became 'in difficulty' out on the water.
Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team were called out to Ullswater yesterday following the reports of the kayaker in difficulty on the lake.
However, en route the team were informed that the incident had been resolved by other agencies.
In a statement on social media, Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team said: "The team were tasked yesterday evening to reports of a Kayaker in difficulty at Ullswater.
"We were stood down en route as the incident had been brought to a conclusion by other agencies."
